In April 2021, Rhiannon took her first pottery class in Bethnal Green, London, United Kingdom. From that moment on she was hooked. Several courses later and with loads of practice on the wheel, Rhiannon decided to step away from her career as a middle and high school teacher and start her own business. Honeystone Studio was born.

After a week-long workshop in London, these two pots were some of the first Rhiannon created.
In July 2021 Rhiannon set up a small studio in Sonora, California. It would be another year before the studio would be in use full time.
Honeystone Studio is up and running with daily - throwing, trimming, firing, and glazing. Lot’s of firsts: new glazes, markets, a website. More to come!

Markets were in full swing. Honeystone Studio was all over The Motherlode area at various craft markets.
The online shop was launched, with the first orders shipping out before the holidays.
